Edfu Sound and Light Show
The 4 Egyptian Sound and Light shows have been a popular excursion for visitors to Egypt for a number of years now, the most popular being at the Pyramids of Giza. Shows are also currently offered at Karnak Temple in Luxor, Philae Temple in Aswan and at the Great Temple of Abu Simbel.
On most of our group tours visiting Cairo, Aswan and Luxor we offer an optional tour to the Sound and Light show, this costs approximately LE175 p/p (Egyptian Pounds, approximately £20 p/p) including the entrance ticket and transportation to and from the event.
The Sound and Light show organisers have recently advised that a new show will soon be added to their program at the Temple of Horus at Edfu. We haven't had all the details confirmed yet, and it won't fit into a lot of our itineraries as we don't always stop for the night in Edfu, but we look forward to checking it out though.
