Hot Air Balloon flights up and running in Luxor!
We're really pleased to announce that after months of being grounded the Egyptian authorities have finally allowed Hot air balloon flights in Luxor to resume flying again from this week onwards. Flights had been prevented after too many balloons operating at the same time had caused several incidents earlier in the year.
Needless to say, the authorities are only allowing these flights to start again with certain restrictions - all of the operators will only be allowed one balloon to be in the air at anytime with the hope that this will prevent any further incidents while still allowing travellers to enjoy this fantastic excursion.
We're obviously delighted that we can offer this flight again for all our travellers. We have recently changed the way that this option is booked - we still book the flight for you in advance but ask that payment is made for this trip locally. While the operators have taken this opportunity to increase the price of this trip, we are keeping to our set price of 990 LE(Egyptian pounds) - approx. £110 per person
