Uncover the World

At Uncover the World, we take any complaints that we may get very seriously, and always encourage our travellers to give us feedback after their trips as this helps us to continually improve our itineraries and service. However, sometimes there's nothing we can do, as in some of these lighthearted examples below, taken from the Telegraph website following research by Thomas Cook & ABTA.

Here are some of the more bizarre ones...

"We bought 'Ray-Ban' sunglasses for five euros (£3.50) from a street trader, only to find out they were fake."

"No-one told us there would be fish in the sea. The children were startled."

"We booked an excursion to a water park but no-one told us we had to bring our swimming costumes and towels."

Or my personal favourite - "On my holiday to Goa in India, I was disgusted to find that almost every restaurant served curry. I don't like spicy food at all."
I'd just like to add that there are many varied restaurants in Goa! Though seafood in Goa is a real winner, rest assured that you can find everything from Chinese food to Pizza.

If you know of any funny incidents that you may have overheard, or seen while on your travels, then do add them below!

Here's a great one i read about:

Female guest wrote: “My fiance and I booked a twin-bedded room but we were placed in a double-bedded room.

We now hold you responsible for the fact that I find myself pregnant,’ the guest said.

“This would not have happened if you had put us in the room that we booked.”
